Meet our "Famous Five"; – Betty, Libby, Tweedy, Mouse and Tinkerbell. These lovely ponies came to ABC Animal Sanctuary recently when their owner sadly became too unwell to care

for them and asked us to give them a safe and loving forever home. 

They have settled in wonderfully, each with their own unique personality, and have quickly become firm favourites with our volunteers. As a close-knit little herd, they love spending

their days together.

Mouse is a Welsh pony who enjoyed quite the social life in her younger days! She was a show pony and loved heading out to parties and events.

Tweedy and Libby are our wonderful Standard Shetlands.

Tinkerbell and Betty are Mini Shetlands, although they’re a little bigger than the average mini. These adorable sisters originally came from a family farm and are always a firm

favourite with visitors.

Libby is definitely the cheeky one of the group! In her previous homes she would quietly sneak up on the goats and dogs before sending them running on their way.

 

Tweedy is a true little angel. She was previously ridden and was always fantastic with children, making her a much-loved pony wherever she went.

Together they make up our very own Famous Five – each with their own unique personality and story to tell.
