April and June (Born April 2026)

These beautiful young Pekin ducks were hatched by a school as part of the children's education. When the teacher discovered that they faced an uncertain future if returned to the egg provider, he ensured that they were found a happy and suitable home.

April and June are inseparable. They waddle around on their massive feet, and sleep snuggled up together. They get very excited when peas and iceberg lettuce are on the menu and have bravely overcome their initial fear of deep water. 

They will be old enough to join the main flock in mid August this year, but until then they can watch the comings and goings of Feathers Drive from the safety of the top pond quarantine area.
