Boris came to the sanctuary from a family who could no longer keep him, as his somewhat loud “cock a doodle doo” was disturbing the neighbours. He is a handsome boy and is protective of his little friend Betty. He often pecks at the volunteers’ legs to let them know he is there but is not at all aggressive and often follows them around as they clean the bird enclosure.
