Shabba is nineteen years old and is another (larger) pony who is the victim of a divorce. He was at one point in his past a trotting or driving pony so he is not easy to ride as he is trained not to canter or gallop. He also suffers from COPD (coughing) and needs wet food like Misty and Charlie, and has a front leg injury which causes him to trip occasionally. At the Sanctuary he is enjoys a comfortable retirement and loves his friend Marty, the rescued gypsy cob.
