Beverley, along with Eddie and several of the other mini-Shetlands, came to us when one of their number was drowned in a raging river flooding through their field. They had been moved around frequently from field to field and were starving. For the first week with us they all screamed alarmingly, but after they had been extensively de-wormed and realised there would be regular feeding times the noise stopped and peace reigned in the paddock once again.
