Successful Christmas Fayre (December 10, 2009)
We held our very first Christmas Fayre at the West Chiltington Village Hall last Saturday and we were all very pleased with its success. There were some lovely stalls including old favourites like the tombola and raffles, and some special ones such as delightful hand made cards, chutney, toys, plants and some absolutely delicious hand-made chocolates and fudge. Refreshments were on hand for all those who needed a respite from the bargain hunting.
We also took along our two pigmy goats, Homer and Marge who were the stars of the stage and thoroughly enjoyed the fuss made of them by the children. Santa dropped by and handed out gifts to the children, who also had their photos taken with him (some of the children seemed bigger than others!).
Many thanks to everyone who came along to support us, we hope you had an enjoyable time and we look forward to seeing you all at the ABC Animal Sanctuary open days on 5th and 6th of June 2010.
