Urgent - Homes needed for gorgeous dobermanns (November 21, 2009)
Can you help? I have lived with dobermanns all my life and would be hard-pressed to live without them. They are very affectionate but are natural guard dogs which in this day and age is no bad thing. I am urgently looking for a home for a lovely natured 5 year old bitch called Kayla- black and tan with a docked tail and a 4 year old male. The owners have divorced and the wife is moving to a flat where she is not allowed dogs. They are the Otherton and Bullmeredith pedigree with a gentle reputation. Kayla is good with other dogs and has been around young children, she has never met cats. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
The boy called Diesel is also black and tan and tail docked. His sire was Jowendy Robin The Hood. He does not like cats, is nervous around strange dogs though he lives happily with Kayla. He has never attacked. Likewise he is castrated, microchipped and vaccinated.
There is also a breeder's bitch just spayed by our vet aged 7. The vet has known her since she was a puppy and was recently asked to put her down for no good reason at all except that they have finished with her. Andy, the vet, has categorically refused to do it as she is such a lovely dog. Please send me an urgent e mail if you can help.
