Wristwatch Auction (September 03, 2009)
Alexandra and everyone at the sanctuary would like to say a big, big thank you to Eddie Platts from Sheffield. Eddie runs an internet based business selling watches ( www.timefactors.com), he recently auctioned a wristwatch to raise money for the ABC Animal Sanctuary. The final bid was £625 which Eddie has kindly donated to us.
We are hoping to put this money towards a new stable for Marty, as during the winter months Shabba seems to think that the current stable is solely for his use and tends to push poor Marty out.
The winner of the auction was a prominent business man from Chesire, Mr Graham Burns.
Once again thank you to Eddie for organising the auction and to Graham for bidding such a wonderful sum.
