Ashington Fair (August 12, 2009)Ashington Fair has very kindly asked me to open it after the big parade on Saturday. I haven't been before but it sounds like it will be a very lively event! The ABC Sanctuary have been given a stand so volunteers from the sanctuary will be there with me plus Phoebe the donkey. She will be wearing special boots as she is prone to hoof infections with rather crumbly feet but we have been poulticing them regularly. She is no longer in any discomfort and the feet are nearly back to normal.
